Once upon a life…
Once upon a time I used to spend my Sunday and my Thursdays, writing a column on a blog.
It was, It was important to me.Part professional notebook and personal diary, there I battled the Balrog of our daily lives.
I’m not a gamer. I don’t have time for it. In our world, above ground, I’ve found myself wondering why.
We all come to a realization at some point in our life that all this stuff is stuff. If you have children, it’s a little more complicated because they have stuff too.
So I wonder why, still I wonder why. Obviously, these things are at stake. Obviously, Balrogs present a risk. Why would people take a choose to do battle with Balrogs?
I understand there must be light in our life and there may be darkness. We don’t fear the dark.
So we battle on, in different ways. Maybe we do it for the children, whether we have them or not.
Don’t fear the Balrog. There’s always a Balrog.
He hasn’t got a chance.
Don’t ask why.
