Folding Space

I think this is something we all grasp intuitively, as if we have an envelope and we put ourselves inside of it and seal the lip closed.

We pull up the space around us so we can move that envelope someplace else.

That’s how I think of it.

In some ways in AI we fold space. It’s all very complicated and mathematical and much more than I can cover without WolframAlpha, but you can.

Sometimes it isn’t just mathematics like that anyway. But we do find a seam and fold it over and look underneath.

At least that’s how I do it.
